I have this slight redness in my upper cheeks and I went to my doctor and she said that it wasn't rosacea and she wouldn't refer me to a derm. My evil sister loves to make fun of me and call me..and I quote ';a rosacea faced *****.'; My parents, family and friend seem to think it's a natural blush. I have WAY to much makeup, I think if I found what would go particularly look best on me I could clean out my unused makeup and then buy a just a couble simple nessesities. I still like to play around, I went to the cover girl but after I put in my information all the suggested brown and gold and a few random products. I'm glad I know brown works well for me now but I would like a little divercity. I mean with lipstick should would mauves, pinks, reds, corals which would compliment my complextion hair and eyes? For your lips, I would do a dark red lip-liner and a bright red lipstick. That might make you seem more fair, but it will make your lips and hair stand out. Also, darker pinks might work.

It cuts down on belts, shoes, handbags you need, because you don't have to accessorize every section of the color wheel. Actually there were so many people that we were there quite late to get everyone analysed. The analyst set up a white screen behind the person being analysed, and she had some special lights. After she analysed about 3 people, everyone caught on and could see that she was right, certain tones flatter certain people. For example, one of her tools was four pieces of red fabric, about 30'; x 30';, sewn together on one side. She would drape it across the shoulders of the person, then peel back each layer. Amazingly, there was one of those reds, and only one, which enlivened and flattered the face of each person. The cool red is the one with blue undertone, and the warm red has orange undertone.
Incidentally, i think some of the Merle Norman people have been trained in some of this. But in retail clothing stores, typically they will try to tell you anyone can wear anything--it's just not true. Well, it's legal, if you want to look tired and old!
So, for your make-up, you would be in the warm, nutmeg, rich brown, coral, warm-red group, or in the cool, grey, grey-ish brown, pink-mauve-watermelon or blue-ish red group, one or the other.

I have semi blonde hair and blue eyes and what I do is keep it simple, i put on brown eyeshadow and then put pink on over it and line my eye brows with the pink, it looks pretty cool it think and i use a pink blush and a pinkish red lipstick, also try using a brown mascara if u want to look more natural. My eyeshadow came in a pack of 3 with 2 diff brown colors and a pink by covergirl, my blush is from clinique and my lipstick is a gloss from american eagle. Good luck!!

NARS vs. MAC eye shadows and blushes?
I loooove MAC makeup, but have just recently been branching out and trying different brands for things like foundation, that I feel are just as good, if not better than MAC. After buying a few eye shadows from MAC that I don't love as much as I should (newly minted for one, not so good...) I am considering trying some NARS products. I have never bought anything from NARS and since they are more expensive, I am kind of worried about maybe just wasting my money. Are NARS eye shadows and blushes better, or more pigmented than MAC's or are they essentially the same? I keep hearing amazing things about NARS so I want to know what all of the hype is about! I used MAC make up for years and loved it ... until I discovered NARS. Blush is their best product IMO, but shadows are very good as well. I love the fact that they are more pigmented softer and more blendable than most other brands. Color range is not as wide as MAC's, but the combinations of their eyeshadow duos are just amazing. I usually wear Kalahari eyeshadow duo, Orgasm and Sin blush. They are more expensive than MAC, so I would start buying colors that you will end up wearing often. Well MAC eyeshadows are the best - end of story. They're the most pigmented and are very long lasting. They don't have alot of neutral shades and that might be what it is.

If pigmentation is a problem, you might want to try a primer for your eyes. That will keep the eyeshadow on. Urban Decay makes a really nice one, or foundation works similarly.

Actually yes, other than mascara, you can use most any facial product on your eyes. I mulit-use mine. I may use some blush on eyes (any kind) and some shadow (pinkish or bronze) on my cheeks. I have used eyebrow pencil to line my lips. I put a base coat of makeup or concealer on my lips before I use lipstick, eyeshadow, blush and gloss. I use gloss a little gloss on my eye brows and eye line.
I have a certificate in make up and facials. So, I am always experimenting. We do not need half the products we buy to fix our face. Less is Best.

I got my sample from Everday Minerals the other day and really liked it. I think the key to getting the best coverage will come from getting proper brushes for mineral make-up applications. However, I needed help with colors other than the foundation/concealer.
Is there anyone who has USED E.M. and has favorites in the ';coloring dept';?? I use the med. int. concealer and the med. beige nuet. foundation. I have blue eyes and brown hair...pretty run of the mill and I'd like to keep the make-up natural. I tried the bouquet blush and think it'll work. I'm going to, however, try one more sample kit but, try the foundation that's more natural---the kind for normal to dry skin---instead of the semi-matte, which is what I chose for my samples. Well, I'll quit blabbing now.

I think that you should use a bronzer as a blush since you say you are pale because if you use a very pink blush you'll end up looking like you were over heated from the sun. You can use the Very Sexy ';Mosaic Bronzer'; by Victoria's Secret.

When ever I meet a girl they always seem to become instantly shy, bow their heads and blush.
The other day I was in the mall with some friends when all 3 of us got thirsty so I said I'd go buy some smoothies. My friends went to the bathroom.
I went over to the Smoothy place and waited in line for about 2 minuets and when I go to the counter this cute girl behind the counter was acting very, very strange; She blushed immediately, struggled to make any kind of eye contact %26amp; started playing with her thumbs... She didn't act lyke this with the ppl in front of me.
