What colour blush for silver/black smokey eye?

As the title says, what shade of blush would best suit PALE skin with silver/black smokey eye(mainly silver so its not a gothic look!)?





I'm aware of the amazing MAC but their products are horribly overpriced therefore I refuse to spend a penny on them. Please only recommend the more 'affordable' products.





Also, with the same look, what shade of lip colour should I go for? Is pink okay (i.e. not too 'bright/dark')? Because I have fairly thin lips so dont feel comfortable with totally nude colours.

i think a gentle stroke of peach blusher (ESTEE LAUDER) and slightly nude lip colour(brave from MAC) would look perfect for the smokey eye look.

A pale rosey blush would look best, start off with just a little and build it up to get the desired pinkyness that you want. Clarins do a good one with has a shimmery sparkle to it. Id go with a paleish pinky rosey colour lipgloss to match the blusher...i know u said ur not comfortable with nude but dark colours make lips look smaller and it would look *too much* with the heavy eye-make up
If you like the MAC products I would go to Kohl's and buy the Flirt! brand. It is made by the Estee Lauder companies just like MAC and very reasonably priced. (Almost everything is $10 or $12).


I would use a very light, sheer blush and light pink lips. For blush color try to stay in a similar color family to your lip gloss color
Smoky eye works best without blush. If you MUST, try a very very very light peach color.


As for lips, go for a nudish pink, with a clear nude gloss. You're doing the smoky eye, so you want the attention to go to the eyes - if you wear too much makeup it will look trashy - especially with the smoky eye.
okay so, i'd say go to like a target or a pharmacy for blush and look for a ';shimmer';. not like a full on bling bling sparkle. but just a little sheen so in the right light it looks fabulous. go for a nude or rosy pink for the lips.
To be honest with you, insulting MAC doesn't help.


Like you said, it's amazing and you get what you pay for.


Buy cheap makeup and you'll end up looking like a cheap hooker.
light sheer pink for the lips, and i'd say no blush. the smokey eye loks great with pale skin. The blushm would mkae it look overdone.
