I bought Cover Girl ';Cheekers'; and do not like how it looks on my cheeks. However, I think the color would look great on my eyes as an eye shadow. Would it be safe to do this? Would I break out? Are the two products basically made of the same ingredients? Is it okay to use blush/bronzer as eye shadow?
yes there is nothing wrong with that. In fact, lip liner and eye liner are made of the same ingredients and the only reason they tell you not to mix them is if you have already used it. If you put some eye liner on your eye and then use it on your lips too that is not safe. But you can use eye shadow, blush, shimmers and powders wherever you want. I actually bought a shimmer powder suppost to be for your face but I use it as eye shadow almost everyday I love it! Good luckIs it okay to use blush/bronzer as eye shadow?
Well, that isn't really a new trick to get more use out of your blush, but it definitely is a great one that not a lot of people do. I guess it's safe to use as an eyeshadow. If it's safe enough to go on your cheeks, it should be good enough to go on your eyelids. Just don't do what I do and forget that it's there and rub your eyes. You end up with nasty red eyes and your eye makeup smeared all over your face.
Totally, you can also use lipstick as blush, if you're in a pinch! I keep a pinkish lipstick in my cars for just such emergency's. That way, if you're in a hurry, you just put some on your finger, and dab it on your eyes a bit, swipe it on your checks and blend, and across your lips and your done! Easy, fast, and presentable.
I do it all the time, but you have to be careful of creasing on the eye lid, because the bronzer/blush will not have the anti-creasing agent that most eye shadows have now days..
I do that all the Time!! Its great to add a bit of Color to my eyes when I need it.
Use a Small Brush to apply it instead of using a big Poofy brush. That way it Helps keeps the powder Out of Your Eyes.
You won't break out. It's meant for your face. You cna se the same blush/bronzer on your cheecks, lips, and as eyeshadow. I do it all the time. It looks more natural.
I do that all the time .. sometimes the color of the blush is more of the color i need then some eyeshawdos i have .. so yeah its perfectly fine =)
The blush is oil based and could cause irritation while eyeshadows are non-oil based and non-allergenic. Not a good idea if you have sensitive skin.
Yep, it's perfectly fine.
I occassionally put the same colour on my cheeks and eyes for consistent colouring.
Yeahits fine to mix and match where you put stuff. I just wouldn't put lip gloss on my cheek that's too think and might cause a break out.
I do it all the time.
Go for it!!.
I do this all the time.
Yes .
Yeah I've done that I looks good. :)
